REFUND POLICY
Thank you for being a part of our community. Whether this is your first time joining us, or you come back each year - we’re thankful that you have entrusted us in your travels + yoga experience. Our goal is for you to have an extraordinary experience with Cocoon along every step of our journey together, from the first email exchange to the last hug goodbye.
your deposit
For retreats, we require a €3000 deposit in order to secure your space. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no exceptions to this policy, for any reason. Please consider your circumstances well before placing your deposit. It is your responsibility to ensure you can host your program before placing your deposit. Exchange rates are based on the standard rate the day transfer is made.
your remainder payment
A second payment of €3000 is due 6 months before the start of your program. Remainder payment is due six weeks prior to the start of your program. Remainder payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. There are no exceptions to this policy, ever. If we don't receive your remainder payments on time as outlined above, we reserve the right to open your reservation to another group.
travel cancellation insurance
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat or training, but unexpected things do happen that can be beyond your control. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance to cover any possible loss. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, EVER.
If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat or training early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.
There is no cancellation nor refund for any reason including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, acts of god, strikes, travel bans, missed / delayed / canceled flights, pandemics, covid 19, illness, health conditions, pregnancy, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat or training due to unforeseen circumstances of any reason, retreat and training fees are unfortunately non-refundable and non-transferable. We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
We reserve the right to remove a participant from the program if their behavior is disruptive. In the event of such dismissal, any refunds will be at the sole discretion of Cocoon Portugal. No refunds will be made for travel, meal or accommodation packages booked.
